Keno is a game of pure luck and is very close to lottery games. The game was brought over to the the states by Chinese immigrants in the nineteenth century. As with lotto games, it is an absolutely simple to play, and it is endearing as substantial fortunes are offered for very little wagers. Keno is enjoyed at taverns, clubs and rec center all over the world today. Unfortunately it shares another weak point with lottery games – horrendous odds.
Logically, Keno happen upon its way into online casinos as it was a simple game to develop, and online casino owners wanted to ensnare the large brick and mortar Keno players on the internet. What was even more in the favour of casinos on the internet was that many gamblers were used to betting on Keno on video screens, so the move on to the internet was less of a problem than say with vingt-et-un.
So here is how you play Keno. You start off by selecting between 4 and 10 numbers from a total of eighty numbers. Each choice is referred to as a "spot". In many online keno games, you can purchase many tickets for the same draw, and in a few games you can even pre-buy for future games.
Once you have submitted your selection, twenty numbered balls will "enter" into a capsule from a tube. If enough of your numbers are picked, you win. It’s that easy. You will obviously win more, if more of your spots appear, like with lottos.
Most online keno games allow you to purchase tickets between 5c and 5 dollars, and pay out in multiples of your card value. Jackpot winnings of up to 50,000 dollars are not uncommon.
Easy? Yeah. So there must be a catch? Absolutely. The casino edge with Keno is thirty percent or more, the WORST of any online casino game. The expectation of landing on a number is 0.25percent. Keno is by a big margin the worst game you can possibly gamble on. If you are wanting a game of luck play slots.
