Keno was introduced in two hundred BC by the Chinese military leader, Cheung Leung who used keno as a way to finance his failing army. The metropolis of Cheung was at war, and after some time seemed to be looking at a national famine with the excessive decrease in supplies. Cheung Leung needed to create a rapid fix for the financial disaster and to produce income for his military. He thusly designed the game we know today as keno and it was a great success.

Keno once was well-known as the White Pigeon Game, seeing as the winning numbers were delivered by pigeons from larger municipalities to the tinier villages. The lotto ‘Keno’ was imported to America in the 1800s by Chinese expatriates who headed to the US to jobs. In those times, Keno used one hundred and twenty numbers.

Today, Keno is most often bet on with 80 numbers in almost all of the US land based casinos along with net casinos. Keno is largely liked today as a consequence of the relaxed nature of playing the game and the basic fact that there are little expertise required to enjoy Keno. Regardless of the fact that the chances of succeeding are appalling, there is constantly the possibility that you could hit quite large with very little gambling investment.

Keno is played with 80 numbers and twenty numbers are picked each round. Players of Keno can choose from two to 10 numbers and gamble on them, whatever amount they want to. The pay out of Keno is according to the bets made and the roll out of matching numbers.

Keno grew in popularity in the US near the end of the 19th century when the Chinese letters were changed with , American numbers. Lotteries weren’t covered under the laws of wagering in the state of Nevada in 1931. The casinos renamed the ‘Chinese lottery’ to ‘horse race keno’ employing the concept that the numbers are horses and you are wanting your horses to place. When the Nevada government passed a law that levied a tax on off track wagering, casinos swiftly changed the name to ‘Keno’.
